Today I have with me a true change maker, who started in the world of Belly dancing and circus performing already as a kid, to then get a Phd in French Literature, went on to teach as adjunct professor of French at Boston College, and then go back to her roots of Belly dancing and Circus aerials. She had such a unique upbringing, that shaped in her a profound way of looking at life and, she shares some of it in this episode.
What’s in common between an amazing belly dancer, international performer, instructor and choreographer? a director of a truly unique and self owned circus? an acrobat, aerialist & dancer? a Doctorate in French Literature?, a personality who have been featured in Documentaries, TV programs? a creative writer and a mother?
Well, the common thing is my guest today: Melinda Pavlata, who is all of that and so much more, and as she says, she does not like to carry any tittles, or accomplishments, but just be, flow, learn, discover, be creative and have fun!
I met her years ago, and we shared many encounters, shared our common passion for dance, and I was also privileged enough to have her in my photographic journey.
She had such a unique upbringing that shaped in her, a profound way of looking at life and, she shares some of it in this episode.
